I came for the Common Wealth Games (2010) to India and by God’s grace won the bronze medal in the freestyle wrestling Championship. During one of the fights I had an acute cervical pain. After the fight, I was rushed to Artemis Hospital and met Dr. Arun Saroha. After the thorough investigations, it was diagnosed that I have an acute cervical rupture. Dr. Saroha convinced me to undergo spine surgery on my C5-C6 (Cervical) disc level with an artificial cage.
